HONY'S LITTLE HUMANS by Brandon Stanton Review

We were sent an advance copy of LITTLE HUMANS by Brandon Stanton which is on sale now. Have you heard of Humans of New York, or HONY as it’s often called? It’s one of the world’s most popular blogs, with 10 million followers who seek out Brandon’s posts featuring photos of the people he encounters on the street in New York (and sometimes around the world) and their words about their fears, hopes, and dreams. It's a real eye opener to read and learn about the everyday people we walk by everywhere we go. I just love it!

Among the most popular posts on HONY are the ‘Today in Microfashion’ photos, which feature the wacky, wonderful children of NYC. The popularity of these posts inspired Brandon to create LITTLE HUMANS, a book exclusively composed of pictures of children, with sparse text telling a story that’s designed to be read out loud. It’s really simple, but it’s also a wonderful showcase of the brilliant, vibrant, diverse children of New York (that also shows that New York kids aren't really all that different from children everywhere!)

My Little Humans loved reading this book, taking turns reading each page. They enjoyed this book and even picked out their favorite Little Humans.

Check out HONY on Facebook too!
